The Legal Services Ombudsman reviews the handling of complaints about solicitors, barristers, licensed conveyancers, legal executives, patent agents and trade mark attorneys by their professional body. Complainants must first complain to the relevant professional body before raising the matter with the Ombudsman.

The Ombudsman is independent of the legal profession and services are free.
