The Saison Poetry Library is a free public lending library and incorporates the Arts Council Poetry Collection of 100,000 items. As well as every major British and Irish poet since 1912, the library includes a huge variety of small publications and writing from around the world, magazines, recordings and an exhibition space. Among the treasurers are rare books, limited editions and a rich range of audio-visual materials including live recordings of sound, dub and rap poetry as well as performance by Beat and Dada poets. The library is open to all and you are welcome to drop in. We offer:

* the UK's finest research collection of modern and contemporary poetry;
* free loan of poetry books, pamphlets and recordings;
* an enquiry service - phone or email us with any questions on poets and poetry;
* a wide range of poetry magazines;
* poetry teaching resources;
* group visits for schools, colleges, family learning groups, writing workshops and other organisations;
