The Women's Institute offers friendship, recreation and education. The group meets 7.30pm-10.00pm on the second Wednesday in the month at Goffs Oak Village Hall, Goffs Lane. There are talks, demonstrations and various crafts and outings.

The Women's Institute is a registered charity and it is not political or sectarian. It is the only women's organisation with its own adult education college.
