Meetings are held at the Village Hall, Borehamwood from 2.30pm-4.30pm on the second Monday in the month. Visitors of all ages are welcome at a cost of £2.30 per afternoon for 3 occasions. Membership is £27.00 per annum for 2008.
Aims: to help women, through education, to play an effective role in their community, to widen their horizons and to develop skills which can be passed on to others.
Parent organisation: Hertfordshire Federation Of Women's Institutes.
Publications: Hertfordshire WI News; WI Life; NFWI.
The WI produce a wide range of books, including W.I. Publications, which may be found at 100 selected stores across the County including Tesco, Marks and Spencer, Martins Books, The Book Peoples mail order catalogue. Books can also be purchased on-line at the WI web site.
