Times: 1st Wednesday of each month (not January) at 2.00pm.
Costs: £27.00 annual subsciption.
Date of AGM: November.
There is no such thing as a typical WI. The Organisation brings women of all ages together in friendship. A programme of activities is arranged by a committee and this covers a wide range of topics, both serious and lightweight. Excursions, material support for a chosen charity, further education at Denman College is available.
Most important is the companionship with an opportunity to make fortunate and unexpected discoveries by accident.
There is disabled access.
