Social meetings with a guest speaker are held on the second Thursday of the month at 7.30pm (except in August). They meet at St Mary's Church House, Churchyard, Hitchin (access via backdoor from Portmill Lane Car Park).

Activities include arranged weekly walks (evenings during the summer), arts and crafts, lunch group, outings, an Orange reading group and a scrabble group.

There is an annual membership charge of £23.00 with an additional charge of 50p for each meeting attended.

The Guild was formed to advance the education of women irrespective of race, creed or party.
