Soroptimist International has 100,000 women members worldwide who work for a better world through awareness, advocacy and action. The St Albans and District Soroptimist Club was formed in 1957 and currently has 40 members from a variety of backgrounds. We give service, share friendship and have fun.
If you are a working woman who is interested in helping your community, broadening your social circle of friends and associates, challenging your thinking on current social issues or contributing to international understanding, then our club could help meet your needs.
We are an informal, friendly club with an exciting programme of events including quiz nights, concerts, 'nosh and natters' and bridge drives. Current speakers have helped us find out about a range of topics including child trafficking, the homeless, breast cancer, women's refuges, HIV/AIDS, human rights and organic food.
New members are always welcome, please contact for further information.
