The club belongs to the National Association of Womens Clubs - a registered charity. This is one of the thirteen clubs in the immediate area which form Herts Lea Valley Association.

The objective of the club is to advance education, and to provide facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation, in the interests of social welfare. It aims to improve the conditions of life for women in the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions.
Caters for all ages, 18-80 years old.
