Beaumont Centre For The Over Sixties

This centre aims to provide a social and luncheon service for all elderly people (60 years plus). The Centre is open from Monday to Friday 10.00am-4.00pm.

Hot and cold drinks are available. Lunch is served at 12 noon (last ticket issued at 11.30am).

Activities include:
Mondays:
* Scrabble at 12.30pm-3.30pm
* Art Group at 1.30pm
* Bingo is at 2.00pm in the Main Hall.
Both the Scrabble and Art Group meet upstairs, but there is a stair lift.

Tuesdays:
* Short inter-denominational service at 10.00am
* Whist at 1.30pm-3.45pm

Thursday:
* Art Group at 1.30pm (upstairs)
* Bingo at 2.00pm (main hall)

Friday:
* Sing-a-long and dance to Brian's Music.

Darts and cards can be played in the upstairs Games room, and there is also a lounge upstairs. The Centre organises holidays and outings. Greeting cards, quality nearly new clothes and books available.

Volunteers are urgently required between 10.00am and 1.00pm (for one day or several) to serve tea and coffee, take dinner money and wash up. Help is also required at their Saturdays sales, held 1st Saturday in the month.
