The Day Centre is open to anyone of retirement age on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10.00am to 3.00pm.

Costs: Attendance is £1.60 per day.

Programme as follows:

Mondays

  • Crafts & other activities - morning
  • Social Activities - afternoon

Tuesdays
  • Quiz - morning
  • Social activities - afternoon
  • Needle craft 2.00pm-4.00pm

Thursdays
  • Craft & other activities - morning
  • Social activities - afternoon
  • Bingo every other Thursday

Fridays
  • Craft & other activities - morning
  • Social activities - afternoon
  • Tea dance - 2.00pm-4.00pm

There is a Hairdresser available 4 days a week and open from 9.00am to 2.00pm.

Arrangements can be made for the collection of housebound residents to receive chiropody treatment at the centre once a month.

They also have a continuous sale of books, sweets, marmalade, cards, etc. which all help to raise funds for the running of our Centre.

Catering facilities:
Lunch is provided every day, as long as it is ordered by 3.00pm on the previous day. For a charge of £2.60 diabetics can be catered for.

Tea and coffee is available throughout the day for a small charge.
