Technology and Communications Development (T&CD) is part of Age Concern's ActivAge Unit.

The aim of T&CD is to encourage older people to realise the value of their experience and knowledge, build wider recognition of their abilities, and improve the options available for everyone hoping to pursue an active and fulfilling later life.

T&CD provides guidance and information on positive opportunities and activities on offer in later life, utilising technology as a means to maximise opportunities. T&CD offers computer and internet taster sessions at various locations around the country and also provide publications to older people, conferences, free training, grants and support to other community groups and organisations through it's Digital Inclusion Network.
