The clubs meets on Thursdays at 7.45pm for 8.00pm (38 meetings per year) at St Stephen Parish Centre, Station Road, Bricket Wood, near St Albans.
The programme includes monthly print and slide/digital competitions, talks illustrated with prints or slides, and audio-visual presentations by experienced photographers. Newcomers are welcome to exhibit their work and many members produce their photographs digitally.
The club takes part in external competitions such as the Rosebowl inter-club competition, and stages an anuual inter-club 'Landscape' competition.
An annual dinner is held and social evenings are organised as well as an occasional ramble and coach outings in which members families are included.
Visitors will be assured of a warm welcome.
Open to all interested in photography at all levels and all ages. Membership costs have recently been reduced to encourage young people to join. They are encourage participation in internal and inter-club competitions as a way of improving photographic knowledge and techniques.
The club is affiliated to The Chiltern Association of Camera Club and The Photographic Society of Great Britain.
