The Aim of the LVNP is to encourage the art and technical skills associated with Nature photography in all its aspects.
Its objective is to enable Natural History photographers to meet at frequent intervals for the interchange of ideas and experience. LVNP is a non-competitive club but they do arrange for displays of members work.
Application for membership shall be open to all interested in the field of Nature photography.
The Lee Valley Regional Park Authority is supporting them and has used images produced by LVNP members in their publications.
The Lee Valley is an important area of high biodiversity. The Lee Valley Park that runs from Amwell in the north down to the River Thames in the south offers a wide and diverse range of Natural History subjects throughout the year.
They meet at the Gun Powder Park, Sewardstone Road, Waltham Abbey, EN9 3GP on the third Thursday of each month at 8.00pm (December meeting is second Thursday).
