Venue: Prince Edward Hall, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, AL10 9AB.
Rehearsals: Thurdays, 7.30pm.
An amateur orchestra with professional string principals, undertakes approximately 7 high quality concerts per year in Hatfield and St Albans (including Cathedral).
Specialists in large romantic repertoire, the group is always keen to attract new players. Currently violin and viola players would be particularly welcome. Experienced players or those of at least grade VII minimum are invited to make contact. Vacancies occasionally arise in other sections.
No upper or lower age limit. Informal, friendly atmosphere at rehearsals.
The Philharmonic at UH is a working name for Hatfield Philharmonic Orchestra.
