This was originally formed as the NCWO, the National Children's Wind Orchestra of Great Britain.
A residential course is held in the Easter holidays at Queenswood School, near Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Entry is by audition only, held at centres around the country during October/November.
National Children's Wind Orchestra: Age up to 16 yrs.
National Children's Chamber Orchestra: Age up to 16 yrs.
National Youth Wind Ensemble: Age up to 19 yrs.
National Children's Wind Sinfonia: Age up to 14 yrs.
National Children's String Sinfonia: Age up to 14 yrs.
National Youth Chamber Orchestra: Age up to 19 yrs.
