* Day/Time of Rehearsals:
Choir meets on Monday evenings from 7.30pm–9.30pm
Orchestra meets on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm–9.30pm

* Venue for Rehearsals:
Watford Grammar School for Girls, Lady's Close, Watford.

Performances take place 4 or 5 times a year, usually on a Wednesday or Saturday at Watford Colesseum.

We have about 180 members, with approximately 140 in the choir and 40 in the orchestra. In addition to our regular performances, we sometimes give gala charity concerts, e.g. for the Watford Peace Hospice, and sometimes join in performances of massed choirs at London venues, such as the Royal Festival and Royal Albert Halls.

Some of our concerts are devoted to the performance of a single major choral work, while some include both choral and orchestral works. Every year we always include one purely orchestral concert. The Society was founded in 1935 and is now in its 73rd season.

Please contact Diana Jefkins or visit the web site for further information.
