This is a small amateur club (8 members currently) comprising musicians of varying abilities playing mainly fretted stringed instruments.
Their objective is to take simple arrangements of popular, folk and light classical pieces and perfect them to play as a group.
Opportunities to entertain at Homes for the elderly etc, occur at intervals. They welcome new players.
Current composition: mandolins, mandolas, guitars, bass guitar, accordian and banjo; compere/vocalist.
Rehearsals are held most Fridays, 7.30pm-10.15pm.
The venue is the small hall of Bushey and Oxhey Methodist Church, King Edward Road, Oxhey, Watford.
The cost is £2.00 per rehearsal, including refreshments.
