* Rehearsal times:
Thursdays from 7.30 to 9.30pm.
* Rehearsal venue:
Ludwick Way Methodist Church, Cole Green Lane, Welwyn Garden City.
We welcome experienced and inexperienced singers. Ability to read music is not essential. Varied repertoire. Approximately 15 concerts annually. The choir raises money for charity and accepts paid engagements; has performed in recent past at Somerset House, Grosvenor House Hotel, Natural History Museum, The Guildhall - all in London. 70th Jubilee Concert at St Albans Abbey in October 2005. The choir will celebrate its 75th Anniversary in some style in 2010.
Annual public concerts at the Barn Theatre, WGC (Christmas) and open air concert at The Crooked Billet, Colney Heath (summer).
35 singing members.
Annual Subscription £50. Age 65+ £40. Choir Uniform provided free.
Members of NFMS and NAC.
