Chess Valley Male Voice Choir
Venue: Rehearsals are held at Chesham Methodist Church, Bellingdon Road, Chesham.
Time: Tuesdays in school term time at 8.00pm.
Annual membership fee £60.
AGM: February/March.
Chess Valley Male Voice Choir provides a 'platform' for men who enjoy singing. The choir is now ten years old, it currently has 45 members and welcomes new members.
The repertoire includes standard male voice songs and hymns, and also modern show songs, operatic songs, etc.
They sing at a variety of venues ranging from local village and church halls to Chesham Elgiva and Wycombe Swan. They also have two trips per year one of which is to Europe to sing in Cathedrals and similar venues.
Membership includes a whole range of age groups. New members are not auditioned but they hope you have some musical experience.
To date the choir has raised in excess of £10,000 for various charities.
