Com.unity Choir

* Venue: Hertswood Lower School, Cowley Hill, Borehamwood, Herts WD6 5LG. The venue has easy access for wheelchair users and has adapted toilet facilities.

* Day/Time of meetings: Monday 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

COM.UNITY offers opportunity, fun and friendship to anyone who is a trained or non-trained singer, who wishes to be part of an inclusive and diverse musical group, welcoming all young people and adults, despite any learning, physical or emotional difficulties.

COM.UNITY now has over 60 members attending regularly, who range widely in age. A group of experienced musicians accompany the Choir members, who now perform all around Hertfordshire.

COM.UNITY members do not need to audition, be able to sight-read music or be experienced singers, as through encouragement and participation, members gain confidence and the ability to develop musical skills so great results are achieved!

COM.UNITY is an interfaith and culturally diverse group and has developed a repertoire of modern music with uplifting, positive themes, including up-tempo music and ballads by well-known recording artists.

COM.UNITY members will, in the future, have the chance to experience singing and playing in a recording studio. We are always looking to include other musicians and singers and encourage them to join the Choir.
