Aspiring Writers (Welwyn Garden City)

Meetings are held every month at 7.30pm at Tanya's, Knightsfield, WGC AL8 7NB.

Encouragement and constructive criticism are given, and information, advice and experience shared. The members are published and aspiring writers for both fiction and non-fictional works. This includes scripts, novels, short stories, articles, poetry, children's stories, etc. Anyone interested in writing - whether beginner or experienced - is very welcome.

The evenings are devoted mainly to reading work in progress, which can lead to topical discussions such as plot design, character building, importance of conflict and technicalities of presenting work for publication or production.
