Stevenage Bridge Club
Day/Time of meetings: Tuesday 7.30pm-10.45pm
Venue: St John Ambulance HQ, Stanmore Road, Stevenage.
Stevenage Bridge Club offers a "Friendly Introduction to Duplicate Bridge". The Club welcomes bridge players of all abilities, whether novices or experienced Rubber Bridge players who would like to try the duplicate game. All ages are welcome from teenagers to centenarians, all the Club asks is that those who play uphold the Club ethos of maintaining a friendly atmosphere, however competitive.
Stevenage Bridge Club play Pairs most weeks but on alternate months they play teams. The club takes part in many County and national competitions, Pairs and Teams Championships, Simultaneous Pairs as well as their own club championship.
* Disabled Facilities:
Ramps into the building, ground floor room, card holders can be provided if notice is given. Bidding boxes are used by all which is helpful to the hard of hearing.
The Club is affiliated to the Hertfordshire Bridge Association (HBA) and through that to the English Bridge Union.
