The club promotes and encourages the playing of duplicate bridge in the town. It is particulary aimed at newcomers and improvers. Beginners courses are run every year starting in September.

It meets at Bancroft Recreation Hall, Bancroft Park, Hitchin on Wednesdays at 7.30pm.

Visitors and new members always welcome. It is usually possible to find individual players a partner.
