The club meets at the White Lion Pub, 91 Sopwell Lane, St Albans on Wednesdays at 8.00pm for the playing of the board game GO, which is a game of skill not chance.
Its alternative names are Wei Qi (China) and Baduk (Korea).
Game Description:
GO is played on a grid. Pieces, black and white, are played alternately on the intersections. The basic objective is to surround more intersections than the opponent. Any pieces completely surrounded by enemy pieces are captured and are included in the final scoring of the game.
