The Players are active all year round with productions, social and other activities.
New members are always welcome either to act or to help with the necessary backstage work of set building, lighting or costume making. If you are just interested in watching the productions then you can become a patron or "Friend" and get advance notice of all future activities.
The Music Section hope to put on two musicals a year, sometimes at the Gordon Craig Theatre. Rehearsals are on Mondays and Wednesdays. Principal parts are auditioned by the Musical Director, but chorus parts usually only require a voice test to establish range.
The Drama Section have established a tradition of high quality and excellent entertainment. They aim to put on two productions a year, usually at the Lytton Theatre itself. In between shows there are weekly drama workshops. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays and Fridays and parts are cast by audition.
The Lytton Youth Theatre is for young people aged between 10 and 18 and meets Sundays during term time for work shop sessions covering all aspects of drama and theatre craft. They are encouraged to take part in their own shows as well as being able to audition for parts in the regular productions.
