The Settlement Players are a well established and thriving amateur theatre group. New members are welcome without audition. We are part of the Letchworth Settlement, an adult education centre and we perform in the very well equipped Little Theatre there.
Rehearsals take place on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8.00pm. Set building and decorating takes place at the theatre on Sunday mornings. For anyone interested in any aspect of theatre the Players only ask for enthusiasm and commitment; talents can be developed and new skills acquired.
The Players produce three full length plays each year, in November, February and June and enter local drama festivals. One act plays are performed in September and January for the Players' Theatre club.
Social evenings and workshops are held throughout the year at the Settlement.
