Wilbury Hills Amateur Theatricals (W.H.A.T.)

W.H.A.T. is a group of musical and theatrical enthusiasts who enjoy singing, acting and playing music together in their spare time. Our aims are to entertain, to raise funds for local charities and to have fun along the way.

We perform two major productions every year, currently in Spring and Autumn. These include musical comedies, pantomimes and variety shows. In addition, we entertain in a number of local venues such as residential homes, day centres and other social and community groups (to make a booking, please contact Lynn Read). From the funds raised, donations are made to local charities and improvements made to our production facilities.

We welcome new members of all ages and levels of ability, with enthusiasm being more important than experience. As well as actors, singers and musicians, we also value help behind the scenes with props, costumes and artwork.

Activities are held on a weekly basis through most of the year. Rehersals are usually on Monday evenings, commencing at 7.30pm at St Thomas Hall, Bedford Road, Letchworth Garden City, whilst performance are at a variety of local venues. Please phone for current details.

Annual membership is £20.00 for adults and £10.00 for children. There is no offical charge for bookings, but donations are welcomed.
