Practice times and venues:
* Fridays from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at Carey Baptist Church Hall.
* Sundays from 12noon to 4.00pm at Micklem School, Warners End.
Costs (as at Feb 2008): £5 per lesson. This fee is to pay for halls and insurance. Saturn Supreme Majorettes is a voluntary run troupe.
Saturn Supreme Majorettes recruit new team members any time of the year and are afflitiated to the United Kingdom Federation of Majorettes. From September to April the troupe competes at regional and national competitions at beginner through to championship standards.
Saturn Supreme Majorettes twirl batons, flags, ribbons, maces, wheels and pom poms and are avalible for shows and carnivals from May to September. Please contact for further information.
Twirling builds confidence, self-discipline and develops motivational skills. Twirling contributes to physical fitness, endurance, cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility and hand-eye co-ordination. Twirling develops mental skills, concentration, memory and the ability to make quick decisions for recoveries.
Twirling develops team spirit, co-operation, responsibility and an appreciation of their role as part of a group but most of all twirling is fun!
