Formed in 1983, the Jayne Marie Dancing School gives children throughout Dacorum the chance to learn and enjoy different types of dancing, as well as gaining the self confidence which comes from appearing in front of an audience.

Children learn in groups but annual choreography competitions enable them to perform on their own or in a duet. For those with a particular aptitude, there are categories for character, dramatic art, mime, singing and entertainment. Experienced, reliable and professional teachers give top-class tuition.

Pupils can also compete in the annual British Arts competition with pupils from other schools, culminating in the finals held in London. Some pupils successfully performing in West End shows! They currently have over 260 pupils aged 3-18.

Childrens's classes in ballet, drama, tap, and modern, street jazz. Competitions, exams and show work. Also group singing classes available to dance students. ISTD exams taken.

Please phone for further details.

Venue: Woodhall Farm Community Centre, Hemel Hempstead and various locations in Berkhamsted.
