The Hertford and Ware Railway society is an informal group of enthusiasts who meet every month to hear interesting and varied talks about aspects of the railway scene both past and present, and of course to exchange views and ideas about railways near and far, historical and modern. The Society includes members from a variety of backgrounds and all are welcome at the meetings.

The venue for meetings is at Richard Hale School in Hertford accessed via Hale Road, a short walk from the town centre and offers ample car parking space in the school grounds in front of the main buildings at the top of the drive. It is readily accessible by bus and from the two railway stations in Hertford.

Meetings start at 8.00pm with the venue open from about 7.45pm, so that the members can arrive early for an informal chat. Meetings usually finish at 10.00pm.

Annual membership:
* Adults £15.00;
* Students/Senior Citizens £12.00;
* Admission for non-members £2.50 per meeting;
* Membership runs from September to August.

Date of AGM: March meeting.
