Green Belt Motor Club

Day/Time of meetings: Wednesday from 9.30pm
Venue: The Two Brewers public house, Northaw, Herts.

For 40 years Green Belt Motor Club has been organising road rallies, special stage rallies, autotests, autocrosses, etc.

The club also hosts a number of social events each year including an annual Dinner & Dance, Christmas Party, Summer Barbecue, Concourse d'Elegance and a Race Night.

Green Belt Motor Club runs a total of 17 annual championships which are open to all members. Awards being presented to the most sucessful competitors in most disciplines of the sport.

The Club enjoys a first class magazine which is published every month, detailing club activities, motor sport and social events. Previews, reports, results and opinions on all kinds of events feature regularly.

All members may contribute and advertise in the magazine and through the club's website.

Meetings are held weekly, with a varied programme of motoring videos, guest speakers, quizzes and other activities which include an annual series of Rally School classes, designed to teach novices the sport of rallying.

The Club is keen to encourage newcomers to the sport having no fewer the three Club Championships designed specifically for novices. These enable beginners to take part in short navigational rallies, treasure hunts, night rallies, etc.

Potential new members are very welcome to attend these informal meetings.
