Free Scrap-store craft materials.
These are clean and safe waste products collected from local industries and businesses (and saved from an early demise in a landfill site) which are suitable for use as scientific or art and craft materials in schools. Such materials include, paper, card, plastics, fabrics, shiny foils, buttons, beads, yarns, cardboard tubes and much, much more.
For a small annual fee, anyone may become a member of the scrap store enabling you to visit as often as you wish, to take what you need from a most amazing array of diverse materials for craft and art projects.
This project is run by the Connect Club Charity which provides supportive, therapeutic working environment for adults managing long term mental health problems.
