Richard and Michelle Humphries have been involved with the silk trade for over 35 years specialising in custom fabric and yarn requirements. Devere Fabrics incorporating Devere Yarns manufactures hand woven fabrics specialising in Carriage Lace, Embroidery threads and weaving yarns. We also supply historic fabrics in small quantities woven in silk, cotton, linen and wool.

The colour ranges of our yarn collection are extensive with a standard set of tones in natural fibres, viscose and Lurex, all of which are suitable for embroidery, weaving or textile craft. In addition we have many other beautiful yarn colours in stock, which we can colour match if you send samples.

We also have education materials available for textile students who are exploring the mysteries of the ancient silk trade, which has survived in England for almost three hundred years .
