STUDIO 15 is an independent artist's studio producing print, photographic and glass artworks. Alongside the artist's own practice, the studio offers a variety of bespoke art workshops either at the studio or in schools, higher and further educational establishments and Day Centres; these include:
* Solar-plate etching - a relatively new printing process that enables images to be established onto metal plates by exposure to light, using sunlight or ultra violet light box. This is a totally SAFE process which uses no acid etching or toxic chemicals. Resident artist Sheila de Rosa had just completed a four-day residency at Haberdashers' Aske's Boys School and has returned to Longdean School, Hemel Hempstead working with year 12&13 students producing works, which were selected for exhibition at The Saatchi Gallery in 2005.
* Others printing course - collographs, dry-point etching, monoprints, relief printmaking using stamps, lino and wood at the University of Hertfordshire, Amersham and Wycombe College. Creating with glass workshop - fusing and slumping soda glass at the Wysing Weekend Workshops, February 2005.
* A Community Photographic Project - working with Astley Cooper School and the community of Grovehill was exhibited on the 8th-12th November 2005. This was sponsored by Kodak Ltd., and Hertfordshire County Council Green Hearts Art and Environment Award.
* Private and Public Commissions - Sheila is happy to discuss large or small scale commissions designed around the customers needs.
