Artist's statement:
Painting is a companion with whom one may hope to walk a great part of life's journey: "age cannot wither her nor custom stale her infinite variety" - Winston Churchill.

Jill paints as her father painted and her grandfather R.T. Mumford too. She is motivated by colour and light mostly.

Awards: 1978 Design and Art Direction award for best illustrated calendar.
