Charlotte Wallis - Painter (Hitchin)

Artist’s Statement:
I am a painter based in Hitchin. Using oils and acrylics I draw inspiration from the natural landscape, exploring light and space. I recently explored related ideas during an artist’s residency in Finland, which has influenced current and future work. A rotating selection of work is held at Advocate Art in Wimbledon Village, with other work shown at various shows throughout the year.

Awards and prizes:
Winsor and Newton Young Artist Award at Society of Women Artists annual exhibition.
