Godfrey Phillips - Painter / Printmaker / Sculptor / Community Artist (Hitchin)

Artist's statement:
I create and manufacture not only public and private commissions but exterior and interior sculptural furniture/objects. The creative design element is supported and led by idiodyncratic personal sculpture, painting and printmaking.

I make things in a wide range of materials and scale, the activity of making is very important to me. The tactile experience of sculptural/2D materials with a visual narrative, sometimes contextual sometimes emotional, provides the framework for my two and three dimensional pieces.
