Artist's statement:
Studied painting with Lyons-Wilson and sculpture with Willi Soukop. Worked with Maxwell Fry on West African and Indian projects. Won competition for redevelopment of Dumbarton. Principal lecturer at Hornsey College of Art, then tutor at the Architectural Association, then lecturer at University College of London. Visiting faculty in Canada, USA, Nigeria, Eire, Australia, New Zealand and Sweden.

Awards:
Parklane Gallery, Seattle 'Madison Properties Award';
Australian Society of Miniature Art 'Best in Show'.

Exhibitions:
* Royal Academy Summer Exhibition;
* Royal Society of Miniature Painters;
* The Left Wing Gallery, Sloane Street;
* The Royal Institute of British Architects;
* Libby Edwards Gallery, Australia.

Qualifications:
University College London; Bartlett School of Architecture and Slade School of Art.

Member of Royal Institute of British Architects - retired;
Member of Royal Town planning Institute - retired;
Member of British Sociological Institute - retired.

* 'The Hedgers' a children's book enjoyed by adults;
* 'Sketch Book of the World';
* Various academic works;
* Various articles.

Teaches university and art school at graduate level.

Art forms used: PVA paints; watercolour; conte; pencil; screen print; etching, monoprint.

Member of the Herts Visual Arts Forum.
