Artist's Statement
The paintings are not about representing a particular person - it's a broader idea - it's always a condition or a state. (This applies to my paintings of people when it is not a commissioned portrait piece).

Specialise in painting people and quirky cats, East European influences, expressionist and decorative.

Qualifications:
BA History of Art, French, Spanish; Post Grad Cert Ed. London University - Arts Studies.

1987 - Dulux National Community Award. 2nd Prize for murals for the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.
