Artist statement:
My work is a personal development and focuses on a renewal of the inner self through exploration of feelings and intuition.

The materials used and the technical application are important to me and I am looking for methods that make it impossible to be neat and tidy. It is a letting go of restrictions and control and allowing things to happen. This brings about an enrichment by capturing the feeling of spontaneity and excitement and enables me to pursue a more fluid sense of being. From the mess thus created I establish order and meaning.

I have a Diploma in stitched textiles and a Degree in painting and printmaking from Hertfordshire University.I have held solo exhibitions and exhibited widely around the country, including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, The Mall Galleries and many others.

Exhibitions:
* Open Studio - annually;
* Watford Museum;
* Old Town Hall, Hemel Hempstead;
* Carlyle Gallery, Chelsea;
* Sheridan Russell Gallery, London;
* Woburn Gallery, London.
