Sally Boutal - Painter / Printmaker / Photographer (St Ippolyts)
Artist's statement:
Sally's current work combines her passion for plants and abstract art. She produces images that are strong in colour and abstraction in form. In developing this work she has explored the play and interplay of light and water on the surfaces of plants.
She is continually fascinated by the resulting image - in some of her work the spirit of the plant is quite evident whilst in others the only discernable relation to the plant is the colour and title of the work. She primarily produces limited edition photographic prints.
