Kaidy Lewis - Portraits / Flowers & Art Courses / Workshops (WGC)
Artist's statement:
For six years Kaidy has painted to commission. Most commissions come word of mouth and are of people, pets and houses. Kaidy also provides art workshops for children and adults. A personalised art course is planned for spring 2008 in Kent.
Kaidy's work is strong and energetic. In particular her portraits resonate the presence of the sitter. In 2008 Kaidy plans to work with more experienced artists, Charlotte Harris (BP Portrait Award Winner) and John Doyle (Royal Watercolour Society) and run a personalised art course which aims to uncover your creative self.
Her work is now owned privately in Kent, Wiltshire, Hertfordshire and Yorkshire. This year she managed to paint a portrait by using email as the only form of communication! Fortunately the client was completely satisfied and the painting has led to orders of prints and two more commissions.

Canterbury Festival, Art Fair, The University College for the Creative Arts.
Ashford Visual Artists, Art Fair 2007.
Qualifications:
St Albans College of Art and Design (Foundation 1989-90).
