Andrew Pearson - Painter / Illustrator (St Albans)

Artist's Statement
Working in various media, with a preference for water colour, Andrew paints a wide range of subjects, including landscape, flowers, people and fantasy.

He aims to communicate the feelings which inspired the work as he finds the transparent qualities and the atmospheric affects which can be achieved with watercolour, ideal for this purpose. His approach to painting differs, according to both subject and his mood at the time.
