Artist's statement:
Paints mainly landscapes in watercolour and oils. Subjects of Thames, The Roman Campagna, quarries and rocky landscapes.
Awards:
- University of Reading prize in Fine Art - 1952.
- Art of Work award: Hertfordshire Arts 1998.
- Edward Austin Abbey Memorial Scholarship at the British School of Rome 1996/7.

- Fashion Space Gallery, London College Of Fashion - Sept 2000, Sept 2002;
- Ruskin Gallery, Sheffield - 1996;
- Retrospective and New Works Exhibition at Gallery 47, London - May 2006;
- The Ruth Borchard Collection of Self Portraits, Kings Place Gallery - 2009;
- 5 joint exhibitions and numerous mixed exhibitions.
