Artist's statement:
Paints mainly landscapes in watercolour and oils. Subjects of Thames, The Roman Campagna, quarries and rocky landscapes.

Awards:
University of Reading prize in Fine Art - 1952.
Art of Work award: Hertfordshire Arts 1998.
Edward Austin Abbey Memorial Scholarship at the British School of Rome 1996/7.
