The Crafts Council was established in 1971 as the National Agency for Contemporary Crafts. Its aims to position the UK as the best place in the world for making, seeing and collecting contemporary craft.
The Craft Council Gallery and shop are now closed, but a refurbished Resource Centre will be opening later this year.
