Meetings are held in Room 11 of Royston Town Hall from 8.00pm to 10.00pm on the last Friday of each month. These are mainly demonstrations by professional artists, occasionally by members.
On the first and third Tuesday afternoons from 2.00pm-4.30pm they hold practical sessions in the Market Hill Rooms, where members may work on their current project, or on the still life which is set up.
Occasional workshops and outdoor painting sessions are held.
The society provides opportunities and encouragement to anyone wishing to paint in a pleasant and sociable group. Members range from 15-70+ years and work in acrylic, oils and watercolour. Experience ranges from newcomers to those with many years of practice. Some members have formal training but many do not. New members are always welcome.
