The aims of NADFAS are to promote the advancement of the aesthetic education of the public, the cultivation, appreciation and the study of the decorative and fine arts, and the giving of aid to the preservation of our national artistic heritage for the benefit of the public.
There are member societies of NADFAS based at: Ashridge, Bishops Stortford, Bushey, Chorleywood, Enfield, Harpenden (day and evening societies), Harrow, Hertsmere, Moor Park, North Beds, North Herts, Rickmansworth, Tring, Welwyn Garden City, Woburn Area, East Herts, Gade Valley abd Bushey.
There are 335 societies of which 9 are in mainland Europe, 28 in Australia and 3 in New Zealand.
