Letchworth Art and Leisure Group (LALG) is a friendly association open to anyone in the Garden City and surrounding districts. It was formed in 1987, to encourage the promotion locally of a wide range of cultural and general interests. Membership - which includes your whole household - costs only £8.00 per year.
Based on the self-help principles so central to Ebenezer Howard's vision of the world's first Garden City, it consists of a number of affiliated groups, whose varied activities are organised by the members themselves. You can join as many as you like, or start one which will reflect your particular interest.
Each group has a Co-ordinator, who will be happy to give you details of the current programme.
