Verulam Amateur Radio Club (St Albans)

Venue: Aboyne Lodge School, Etna Road, St Albans.
Day/Time: 3rd Tuesday at 7.30pm for 8.00pm.

Club Aims:
a) To promote Amateur Radio and it’s allied hobbies.
b) To provide educational assistance with Amateur Radio subjects, especially to intending candidates for the Radio Licence Examinations.
c) The foregoing promotion and assistance shall apply regardless of sex, age, ethnic origin or religion.
d) To provide a program of lectures and other activities throughout the year.

Activities Include.
We hold monthly lectures on radio and allied subjects, we also have a couple of "on air" club activies most weeks of the year.
The club takes part in "on air" contests and interclub sessions.

Instruction courses and examinations for the various grades of amateur radio licence are run as demand dictates.

All ages are welcome, but juveniles must be accompanied by a responsible adult to any club meeting. Our youngest examination success so far was a twlve year old girl.
