The Society's aim is to encourage the good cultivation of flowers, fruit and vegetables. They hold three shows per year at North Mymms Youth and Community Centre, Station Road, North Mymms, Tel 01707 260198.

In addition, shows also include floral arrangement, cookery, photography, wines and children's classes. There is a programme of outings to houses and gardens of interest.

This organisation is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society, the Royal National Rose Society, National Chrysanthemum Society, National Dahlia Society, Daffodil Society and the National Vegetable Society.
